A typical product training session would consist of the
following elements:
Health and Safety
Health and Safety at Work Act.
COSHH - Control of Substances
Hazardous to Health.
Wearing of rubber gloves.
Safe handling of chemicals.
Use of Electrical Machines.
Colour Coding
Introduction of colour
coding scheme, and reasons for it.
Product Training - A discussion of each product being used
Where it should be used.
Safety precautions.
What the item does and does
not do.
Any other issues
Practical Training - This may
include
Cleaning a washroom area
Carpet Cleaning
Cleaning a floor area
Stain Removal
A certificate is issued to everyone attending the course confirming the issues
covered during the session. Course notes are provided as part of the training
session, so that candidates may refer to these again later.
